It started with a 3 AM text.
“We found our dream home!”
And from there, we got to work.
My clients had found the home they wanted, and we beat out multiple offers to secure it. Then, almost immediately, our attention turned to getting their home at 8388 Fenhollow Drive ready for the market.
The timing was important. We needed to sell their current home while they were moving toward their next one, and we wanted to create enough momentum to make the transition as seamless as possible.
Within the first week, we had multiple offers on the table.
Ultimately, Fenhollow sold for $1,017,000, and we were able to close the sale before my clients even closed on their new home.
That part of the transaction felt pretty special.
The $1,017,000 sale also established a new high-water mark for West Meadows.
For me, that's always one of the most rewarding parts of a sale—seeing a property recognized for what it has to offer and achieving a result that reflects the work that went into positioning it well.
But the number isn't really what I'll remember most about this one.
These clients are friends, which made getting to walk alongside them through such a big life transition especially meaningful.
I got to help them find and secure a home they loved, then turn around and help them sell the home they were leaving. And welcoming a new family into their Verdi home made the whole thing feel wonderfully full circle.
That's one of the things I love about real estate. It's rarely just about the property. It's about the people, the timing, and the next chapter that's waiting on the other side of the transaction.
What made this sale stand out to me?
It wasn’t just the $1.017 million sale price or the fact that we set a new high-water mark in West Meadows. It was the way everything came together for my clients. They found their dream home, we competed successfully to secure it, and then turned around and prepared their existing home for sale, all while navigating the timing of two transactions. Getting them into the home they loved while welcoming a new family into their old one made this feel like much more than a sale.
If you're thinking about making a move of your own, I'm always happy to talk through what that might look like—even if you're just starting to think about it.
